Most apple farms in Iran produce grade A apples, which are located in the northwest and west of Iran. West Azarbaijan province is the largest producer of high quality, Zanjan, Urmia, Tehran, Semiram, Damavand and Selmas are other important cities that produce a large number of first-class apples that are completely natural and organic as well as nutritious.
Peach, (Prunus persica), is a fruit tree from the rose family (Rosaceae) that grows in temperate tropical regions of both the northern and southern hemispheres.
Peaches grow in a relatively limited range in dry, continental or temperate climates. Iran is the sixth largest producer of peaches in the world with an annual production of more than 400,000 million tons.
In general, the main areas of peach production in Iran are Mazandaran, Tehran, Alborz, Azarbaijan, Khorasan and Qazvin.
